Review: The fact that it isn't lathed makes this a little exotic sounding. It has a bit more volume and sustain that its closest cousin, the 2002 8" Splash. They weren't offered as long as the 10" size, which makes this little one a bit hard to come by. It is delicate sounding, very quick decaying, and has a chime-like sound.
