Review: When I play this, I hear a sound unlike most other Chinese cymbals. If you are familiar with either the Paiste Mellow China, or Zildjian's Pang cymbal, you might hear a bit of a similarity. This china has a wide, shallow bell, different than the "regular' RUDE China's deep, "square" one. This 1000 has a unique, white noise-ish sound. I did a video of these side-by-side, linked above.
