Review: "And for those needing real muscle in their sound, the 15" Rock hi-hats are incomparable, with an almost crash-like foot splash, a deeper pitch, and power to spare."

Review: These are some big, beefy-sounding hats. They are bright, and taking the weights into consideration, are pretty quick and precise. (Again, I stress for their size.) The Alpha series really had some underrated models, and this is another one. They have strong stick definition when played closed, fat and sloshy when played open. They sound great when using the foot pedal too!

Review: "The 14" and 15" Rock Hats were a lot of fun to play. They had a strong metallic quality that inspired me to play a lot of reggae-type grooves—they just seemed to have that Carly Barrett vibe built in. These were also some of the first hi-hats I've tried that didn't sound overplayed when I really laid into them."
