Background: 1967: The "Ludwigs" or sometimes "Ludwig Custom cymbals" are finally referred to as "Ludwig Standards", probably to avoid confusion with the "all-new" econo Ludwig Stanoples which make their first appearance.
Most likely, all of Paiste's lower lines switched to B8 in 1971/early 1972 including the Ludwig Standards".
