Review: "None of the crashes could be described as "powerful"; Paiste was obviously going more for "expressive" than "explosive." Even when fully clobbered, both the 16" and 18" extra-thin crashes gave a satisfying pawhhh. Although a thin cymbal normally "gets into motion" quickly, the low fundamental pitch of these cymbals gives the impression of a relatively slow attack. All had a predictably fast decay."
