'''Review:''' OK, I have to admit, this was not the Nicko ride sound I was expecting. A nice bright ping, but not too bright. Not great for crashing, but man oh man does this have a nice definition to it! I played along to a few tracks on "Piece Of Mind" to break it in, and after about 10 minutes or so, I REALLY warmed up to it. Not a versatile multi cymbal, but if you've bought it, chances are that's not what you were looking for.
Reflector finish is spectacular, I wonder what it would look like under bright lights! The bell is massive in size and sound, and I think it would make even the most hardcore metalhead happy. Being a Signature, it has a warm shimmer, not clangy at all.
| '''Review:''' OK, I have to admit, this was not the Nicko ride sound I was expecting. A nice bright ping, but not too bright. '''Review:''' I have this ride and absolutely LOVE it. I went through several rides trying to find what I wanted. I found it in this ride. You're going to love this! It has the nicest bell I've ever heard on a ride. Not clangy like the Sabian Powerbell, but big enough and loud. The bad side to this Ride.......I'm now changing out all my Sabian crashes, splashes, and hi hats to Paiste Reflectors.
| '''Review:''' I have this ride and absolutely LOVE it. '''Review:''' It's the perfect ride, the best I owned (22" Dimensions Power Bell, 20" 2oo2 Heavy, 21" Signature Dry Heavy, Saluda Mist-X and Meinl Soundcaster Powerful). '''Review:''' I also recently bought the 22" Reflector Bell Ride, and I like it, but it could use a little work. I like the tone of it, and the bell, but it could use a little more ping, that is clearer. It has a ping that is very, glassy, and big. It is not a precise ping that is clearly heard. It sits within a mix of glassy wash, and it kind of lost. Recorded, the ride simply sound like wash, no ping. I was hoping for more from it. I will probably sell it, and get either a 22" Reflector Power Ride, or custom order a 21" Reflector Dry Heavy Ride.
| '''Review:''' I also recently bought the 22" Reflector Bell Ride, and I like it, but it could use a little work. '''Review:''' "The 20" and 22" Reflector Bell Rides lived up to their name with cutting, throaty bell sounds, as well as great stick "ping" and a nicely controlled wash. They complemented the other models of the Heavy Full line very well while displaying distinct differences from the crashes of the same size. Both Bell Rides responded well to crashing with the shoulder of the stick, while resisting building up to an uncontrollable wash.
The 20" model proved to be a great substitute for my usual medium ride, which I use in a variety of musical situations. The 22" Bell Ride is clearly designed as a heavy rock cymbal-as is evidenced by the prominent Power Slave logo of Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain-and it definitely shines in that role. Yet the 22" produces a much darker and more musical tone than I expected from a cymbal of this size and weight."
| '''Review:''' "The 20" and 22" Reflector Bell Rides lived up to their name with cutting, throaty bell sounds, as well as great stick "ping" and a nicely controlled wash. Review: OK, I have to admit, this was not the Nicko ride sound I was expecting.

It has the nicest bell I've ever heard on a ride. Not clangy like the Sabian Powerbell, but big enough and loud. The bad side to this Ride.......I'm now changing out all my Sabian crashes, splashes, and hi hats to Paiste Reflectors.
