Exotic Percussion
- A small thick CuSn8 bronze disk with a slight bowl shape, it produces a round, warm, musical and seemingly never ending high pitched tone. Played with mallets, its sound is especially warm and round. (2)
- Bright, full, warm, brilliant. Narrow range, clean mix. Heavy, very immediate feel. Dominant fundamental note surrounded by prominent, very musical, under- and overtones, which modulate at varying amplitudes. Exceptionally long, seemingly never ending sustain. The ultimate bright, warm, mellow bell sound.
