Review: This pairing makes a noticeable "chick" sound - a little more 'cut' than the regular Dark Heavy Hi-Hat set. These have a nice full sound, with a warm character that puts them in line with the rest of this series. This would make a nice choice when one needs to blend in with the instruments, but need just a little "something" to put the hi-hat sound out in the mix.
