Review: "China cymbals are often loved-or hated-for their abrasive attack. The ColorSound coating on this 18" rock version ($270) slightly lessened the harshness, which allowed the effect of the China to be heard without jumping to the front ofthe mix. It had a fairly long decay, and it tooproduced a more colorful sound when played aggressively."
