Review: The 20" Ride cymbal has a fine, clean serve and a relatively low fundamental tone, which gives the cymbal a warm, soft coloration. The sound ratio is balanced, and the sound dynamics are particularly evident in quiet to medium-loud playing. Also well suited for light "crashing". Played heavy, the cymbal naturally swings up quickly due to its fine material structure, so that it is best used in quiet to medium music volume, such as in acoustic jazz, in trios, folk music, etc. Its bell sounds bright and clear and stands out well overall without being obtrusive.
