Review: "I’d classify the Byzance medium as actually being medium-light in weight, and the heavy as actually being medium. Both have a good balance between stick definition and overtones, and both fall within a medium pitch range, with the heavy ride being a bit higher in pitch. I’d choose the medium ride for jazz and the heavy ride for rock, but both could work in either setting. On the other hand, the light model has a lower pitch and more of the “old K” sound."
