Review: "Now, I wouldn't have to do anything to get a great chick sound from the 14" Powerful hi-hats. Their weight and size produced plenty of that characteristic. On the other hand, they weren't as subtle and delicate-sounding as their smaller siblings. Surprisingly, though, their shape and hammering kept them down in moderately deep pitch territory. To my ears, these sounded like good general-purpose hi-hats, with a touch more character than many other models that fit that description."
