Review: "Todd Sucherman, who has been the bottom of Styx for many years, has perfected the Sabian and two types of crash cymbals. The "Redlight" lineup in the HHX series has a smoky tone and a transparent high-end shimmer that contributes to the fit and presence when mixing, and is designed for use in recording.

On the other hand, AA Spotlight is a live specification that encompasses the sharp attack and clear projection required on stage with a brilliant sound and smooth attenuation. All of them are uniformly sized as 18"/19"/20"/22".

The AA line models are named Spotlight and have a sound that is mainly designed for use on stage (= live). On a single item, the body and tightness unique to AA, the smooth tone with a brilliant finish, and the soft feel due to the thinner edges for the weight, are impressive, but when you put them side by side, you will notice that the volume of each is the same. In general, the volume is proportional to the caliber, but comparing the 18" and 22" is clearly controlled and counterintuitive, achieving a kind of ideal balance."
