Meinl's Description: <<< - >>>
Review: "Medium thickness, hammered and lathed repeatedly, the range of its frequencies is compressed, it does not expand in the highs: a cymbal with very controlled response. Warm and dark lows, markedly enhanced by the heavy hammering. Tip strokes are projected with great ease. The central area of the cymbal is sensitive and excellent for a continuous ride effect, while the bell, when struck with the center of the stick, provides crash accents that are well-balanced and blended with the ride effect. It's a pleasure to play such a versatile cymbal, capable of responding immediately to every subtle change in dynamics... Essentially, without moving the stick, you have a world of sounds at your disposal. Given its versatility, this 22" ride is a cymbal suitable not only for jazz and fusion, but also for several other areas and types."
