"A Zildjian & Cie" has been used three times.
- The first time was when Aram Zildjian started producing cymbals in Bucharest, Romania in 1909 as 'A Zildjian & Cie, Constantinople Cymbals'. This lasted until 1927, when Aram approached Avedis Zildjian III to take over the family business.1
- The second time was the early 1970s, when it was applied to A Zildjian brilliant cymbals. Aside from the brilliant finish, these cymbals featured a "half moon and star" logo, with "Made in USA". This lasted until the mid-1990s.1
- The third time was for the A Zildjian & Cie Vintage series, now discontinued.
