Review: "The Safari Crash has a quick decay, so it’s perfect for adding white-noise effects. This comes in handy when you’re playing along to loops or programmed beats. Again, I liked the way it sounded when I added it to my electronic setup. It gave me an “almost” real-sounding cymbal to combine with my electronic ones. And of course I had the option to get different sounds by adding the 8" splash."
