Rajah cymbals appear to have been produced in Canada and possibly England. Canadian-made Rajah cymbals, including ride and hi-hat models, date back to mid-20th century, while some English-raised models may originate from the late 1960s to early 1970s, potentially linked to Zyn or Premier-related manufacturing.

The brand may have occasionally sourced production from multiple suppliers, leading to variations in alloy and stamping. Some models are even suggested to be made by or influenced by Zildjian practices, although exact documentation is limited.

Rajah employed hand hammering in their production.
