The Byzance Brilliant 18” Trash China has a vigorous attack note delivering trashy cut along with shimmering sustain backed by complex tone. Hole cut-outs allow the china to roar to life and decay quickly for faster accents. The result is a classic brilliant cymbal loaded with bite.¹

Hand-hammered and completely unlathed, Byzance Dark cymbals immediately hit the sweet spot with crashes that open up just enough, then get out of the way. The hihats and rides provide clarity, cut and volume, along with a prominent dark tone brought out by their unique surfaces. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered into shape. The surfaces here are left unlathed creating the dark finish except for the Spectrum Hihats and Ride which are partially lathed in a spiral pattern.¹⁰

Additionally, this china has a different tonal response with more highs in the wash meaning this china will cut when needed.
