Description

A Custom

• Recognized by their striking brilliant finish, A Custom Rides feature unique tonal grooves and lower profiles. Together, these attributes produce a smoother, glassier and brighter sounding cymbal with more give when struck. It is these qualities that have made the sound of A Customs particularly sought after in the studio. Bright sound with clean stick definition. Medium-thin weight also allows for some wash when playing ride patterns. Colorful, warmer undertones. Clear bell sound.⁸

Amir

• Crisp, controlled response with high pitched, metallic stick sound.¹

I

• Precise, clean stick definition. Fantastic bell that cuts through the mix. Choose between 20" for more control, or 22" for extra volume, projection and wash.⁶
  

Impulse

• Crisp, controlled response. Strong projection pulses through loud music. Solid stick control and playing response. Limited overtones let drummers play harder. Blends well with any cymbal set-up.³

K Zildjian

• Low pitched. Clear stick definition over roaring dark overtones with controlled build-up.¹
  

Pitch Black

• The true monster with a massive bell that just begs to be hit. Crafted to still have enough wash to provide a ton of body when striking the edge. Stands up to the largest of bass drums.¹⁰

Planet Z

• Bright and cutting ride cymbal. Capable of really cutting through the mix. Great stick definition. Focused sound.⁵
  

Re-Mix

• Recreates the characteristics of synthetic Ride sounds but retains a natural, acoustic quality. Precisely attenuated and concentrated. Highly articulate, slightly dark stick sound. Few overtones.⁹

S Dark

• Sized and shaped for versatility, the S Dark Ride is a solid, all-purpose ride option for drummers who lean darker in their cymbal sound. Excellent blend, stick response, and a clear bell round out this balanced ride, which also resonates with lower overtones and a hint of dryness.⁴
  

Scimitar

• Medium high-pitched tone. Precise attack. Good, clean stick definition.¹

Scimitar Bronze

• A clear, clean stick attack and a subtle and focused overtone build-up. It produces a medium high-pitched tone.²

ZBT

• Medium high-pitched tone. Precise, clean stick definition.⁹

Z Custom

• Available in both 20” and 22” sizes, feature unrivaled stick definition, letting even the most intricate patterns shine through. Z Custom Rides project across the mix on stage, featuring a powerful wash with an expressive and cutting bell.⁷
