Review: The 14" hi-hat cymbals are a good complement to the ride cymbal. Their sound coloration can also be defined as soft and fine, but they sound a bit too dull for my taste. However, the stick serve with closed cymbals is clean if you play them with thinner to medium-strength sticks. When crashing, the result is a soft sound character. When playing the hi-hat with the foot, the cymbals come with a clean "chick", provided that you tilt the lower cymbal a little so that the air can escape better. Your volume is somewhat limited so these hi-hats should be used especially in low to medium volume.
