Review: The 14" hi-hat cymbals of the Volcanic Rock series are characterized by their clear and brilliant sound characteristics. Played closed, the stick serves are precisely and cleanly defined, even with thick drumsticks. When crashing, they have a quick response. When playing with the foot, the "luck" of the closing cymbals is always clean, as the lower bottom cymbal is very thick and has a lot of room for manoeuvre. She brings it with her. Nevertheless, you should always set the lower hi-hat basin a little more inclined so that the air can escape better. These hi-hat cymbals, like the entire Volcanic Rock series, can also be used very well where powerful and sharply penetrating cymbals are needed. In addition, these cymbals seemed to me to be particularly suitable for being combined with electronic drums.
