Review: The 14" Rock Velvet HiHats have a round sound. They sound clearly defined when played together, and open quickly when crashed, whereby the fundamental tone can rather be described as warm/rnitten-accentuated. Played with the foot, the cymbals give a not so clear, but still clear sounding "chick" sound, which, however, increases in clarity when the lower hi-hat cymbal is tilted. They can be used in all musical genres (except heavy rock and others), whereby they reach their full sound when played best with medium-strong sticks.
