Zilco cymbals were made by Zildjian. They were offered at about a 25% lower price than Avedis Zildjians. Zilco featured 11" and 13" Swish cymbals, "the new cymbal sensation", introduced by Dave Tough and Gene Krupa. The name Zilco was used later on, for cymbals made in the Canadian Zildjian factory "Azco". This occurred between 1968 to 1970, and again from 1976 to 1979. There were two types - a second-line Zildjian, and a thinner line that was not hammered. 1
