Review: The 20" Ride has a bright, clear, clearly defined "ping" when hitting the stick, even with a very powerful playing style. The actual fundamental tone is rather in the middle, almost bright range, so that it always has a crystal-clear sound character. Therefore, it can be used very well, e.g. in heavy metal or other loud music genres without further ado.
This cymbal will always come through clearly. It has a lot of power from its sound substance and therefore a lot of assertiveness.
