Description

Byzance Dark

  • Drawing from the foundation of other Big Apple rides, this flat ride combines many elements for a unique cymbal. Starting off, the thin weight allows this cymbal to be very expressive regardless of the dynamic level. Next, the unlathed surface and lack of a bell produce razor sharp definition wrapped in an earthy, raw vibe. Finally, there is a slight bow in the shape which adds a roar and hint of sizzle in the wash and creates a low, breathy response when crashed. 1
