Alpha
- Energetic, full, clear, bright. Fairly wide range, clear mix. Pronounced ping over an even, rich overtoned wash. Very pronounced bell sound, fairly separated, and well balanced within the overall cymbal sound. Perfectly suited for forceful playing in aggressive music styles, where wide dynamics are required.

- Bright, full, warm, energetic. Fairly narrow range, fairly clean mix. Heavy, controllable feel. Strong, clean, sweet ping over slightly dark wash. Still very playable at moderate volume.
