* Effortless touch and clean sound. This is Meinl Pure Alloy. A timeless voice formed with fully lathed surfaces allows them to be expressive in virtually any style. Their refined nature has two sides: polished definition met by a velvety wash that encompasses a full tonal spectrum. Meinl Byzance 20 Thin Ride 2.jpg

Description

Extra Dry

  • The thinner brother to the medium version with more wash and an extremely buttery, soft feeling. This ride has also good crash abilities due to its thin material.3

Byzance Jazz

  • Traditional Jazz Ride with a perfect blend of spread and shimmer. Intensive hammering results in a harmonic, colorful sound with lots of depth.1

Byzance Traditional

  • Dark and simmering in the traditional style. Clear bell definition and a mellow, voluminous stick response with a washy ping.4

Pure Alloy

  • Effortless touch and clean sound. This is Meinl Pure Alloy. A timeless voice formed with fully lathed surfaces allows them to be expressive in virtually any style. Their refined nature has two sides: polished definition met by a velvety wash that encompasses a full tonal spectrum. Shimmering, smooth sounds bounce right along with your stick to create a reactive touch that extends through all dynamic levels. These cymbals cut with agility. Blanketing their superb stick definition is a sustain that plays out with just the right amount of strength and balanced wash.
  • The Pure Alloy Thin Ride has a sparkling stick attack over a warm bed of wash. The bell has a bright snap that stands out in any musical context. When crashed, these rides really open up for bold accents and long sustain making them versatile cymbals that will cover several musical applications.2
