Review: These have a shimmery, silvery, round-sound. Like Zildjian's New Beats, these would be great for just about any genre, from jazz to rock. Played closed, the have a nice "chick", and played with the foot pedal they have a nice "bark". They're fairly common, so buying a set won't break the bank.
