Wuhan cymbals and gongs are made in Wuhan, China. Originally the name of the factory was "Gaohontai", and renamed to its current iteration during the 1960s. Cymbals bearing the original name were sold in limited amounts. The original name was used for awhile in the 1980s, along with the current name. (*)
