Background: The official Paiste '09 timeline doesn't list a "Standard", yet there is a "Zilko Standard" around this time frame.
We have proof of its existence from the cover of the 1957 catalog, which only identifies three lines--Super F602, Stambul and Standard (see below)...this was when the Swiss factory first opened.
Unfortunately, we do not have the inside pages to the '57 catalog. Until then, we have no data on types and sizes offered on this series.
The "Standard" used NS12 (Nickel Silver alloy). It's likely that they were the lower budget line at the time, as Stambul was the higher quality line.
The Super F602 also came on line in '57 and was considered their top line, which ultimately transitioned into the F602 series by 1960.
We do know that the Standard series had 14" hi-hats and an 18", whether it was a crash or a ride, and a 16" crash, as part of their offering.
It is believed that these were made in Switzerland, so definitely from '57 or later.

Innovation:

Alloy: Nickel Silver

Quality: Budget, student, entry level

Production:

Applications: Ideal for the beginner or student and are particularly useful in the grade school band, or small combo
