Review: "The 15" Om hi-hats were my personal favorites of all the cymbals in this review. I'm a big fan of the buttery, soft sound of well-worn vintage hi-hats, or even well-matched 16" crash cymbals. These Oms had those qualities, plus increased presence, a gritty sizzle when played partially open, and a plush but crisp foot "chick." They were also very quick to respond to all types of strokes, from soft tip hits on the bow to quick open "barks" to full-on shoulder shanks. Fans of Brian Blade's breathy hi-hat sound will love these."
