Review: "The 8" splash ($109) sounded exactly the way I think a splash cymbal should sound- all splash and no trash. It had a slick, focused attack, and its immediate decay made it an excellent fast-acting accent cymbal. The 10" splash ($129) blended a subtle trashiness with the more sonorous qualities of the 8" model, and a slightly lower pitch and fuller tone added to the decay time. I found myself returning to the 8" more often to meet my splash needs."
