Review: "The hi-hat pairs consist of a thin top and a heavy bottom. The bottom has a higher profile than the top, giving it a slightly more pronounced bell. The result of this combination is a sound that really cuts through.
The 13" pair I played had the highest and lightest voice; the pitch went down through the larger sizes. Stick response was much better than I thought it would be for a thin top cymbal, yet the chick sound was still clear and strong. And the interaction between the two cymbals was under full control.
