Review: (video above) The Platinum 18" Thin Crash has a nice shimmer, and a medium-quick decay. Doing successive 8th note crashes on it built up a warm, washy wall of sound that is very pleasing to the ear.
The nice part of this crash is that it could be used for some light riding as well, which would make this a nice choice if one would need to carry less to a gig.
Overall this would be a nice addition for music styles except for the heaviest ones.
