'''Review:''' The name is apt - this is indeed dry, at least for such a heavy cymbal. There are some overtones, but they are hidden under a very distinct "ping". The unlathed surface gives this an "airy" quality, like that of the [[Paiste RUDE|RUDE]] series, a bit unrefined, but not unruly. Quick sticking is no problem, and when doing this, there is a low roar that builds up, albeit under the "ping", which is on the loud side of the spectrum. Hitting the bell with the taper of the stick was pleasing, yielding a separated sound that can cut through loud music.

Review: The name is apt - this is indeed dry, at least for such a heavy cymbal. There are some overtones, but they are hidden under a very distinct "ping". The unlathed surface gives this an "airy" quality, like that of the RUDE series, a bit unrefined, but not unruly. Quick sticking is no problem, and when doing this, there is a low roar that builds up, albeit under the "ping", which is on the loud side of the spectrum. Hitting the bell with the taper of the stick was pleasing, yielding a separated sound that can cut through loud music.
