Review: "I found the Silver Mellow ride's combination of rich and dry sonics characteristics quite appealing. It responded well to the stick in a quiet and medium-loud range, producing mellow, silvery shimmer with a nice harmonic mix. As this sound unfolded, the medium spread revealed a cushion of air underneath, which is a sound that I usually associate with a dry ride. The cymbal's overall pitch was low, providing a nice foundation when I played it in combination with other cymbals. A reliable bell echoed the characteristics of the cymbal body, while remaining distinct in sound.
The cymbal proved to be a very versatile ride. Its relatively low pitch, along with its other characteristics, would allow it to fit into many settings."

Review: "The 21" Silver Mellow ride is indeed silvery sounding. It has a tingling, high pitch over a warm background. The stick sound is uncannily clear but quite soft, not a million miles from a flat ride. It has a relatively narrow frequency range that won't clutter the overall sound of your band."
