Background: ZHT (Zildjian High Tin) cymbals are unlike other sheet metal lines, using the B12 alloy instead of the more commonly used B8. The higher tin content is said to enhance mid and low-end frequency output.
Alloy: B12 (This is the first series Zildjian used this alloy.)
Quality:
Production: Each cymbal is lathed top and bottom, with precision hammering like on Zildjian's top series. According to Paul Francis, ZHT cymbals are hammered, shaped, and then lathed like those of the A Zildjian series.2
