When I purchased this, it was listed at "3.6 inches", although it measures 4.5". It doesn't seem to be on the maker's site anymore, and seeing that they don't make odd-sized gongs, I'm going with 4" as the official size. (Wuhan often doesn't run true-to-size, but are often "rounded down" sized indicated on the product.)<br>

Review: This little one produces a clear, articulated tone without much trashy / exotic overtones. Although Wuhan doesn't offer gongs tuned to specific notes, this one would appear to be done just so. It's meant to be played hand-held, and an appropriate mallet is provided. It does seem to be thick for the size - 217 grams - which helps its defined sound.

It doesn't seem to be on the maker's site anymore, and seeing that they don't make odd-sized gongs, I'm going with 4" as the official size. (Wuhan often doesn't run true-to-size, but are often "rounded down" sized indicated on the product.)
