Review: This was a nice surprise. It opens easily to a full, bright sound. (The fact that this is B8 alloy is obvious, but in a really good way.)
It has a wide lip, about 2 3/4" / 6.985cm. This lip has no hammering nearest the outer edge, then 4 rows of small hammering, that are spaced apart. (Over these small indentations are some large hammerings, spaced even further apart.) At the "end" of the lip, nearest the profile, are hammer marks that touch all the way around. At the start of the profile is totally smooth (like near the outer edge), and then moving toward the bell are large marks that seem to appear in no particular pattern. The profile is fairly flat. The whole cymbal is polished to a shiny finish that the company calls "Brilliant".
There is some white noise to go along with an attractive "kah" sound - it's almost hard to describe in words. It has a long sustain, and a bit of volume. I think if someone were wanting a China for powerful accents, this could make a good choice.
