Review: "The 17" medium heavy crash sounds similar to the 16", but has a touch more depth and body. When you move to the 18" size, the sound begins to take on a bit more of a "band cymbal" sound. The crash is lower in pitch and more "bell-like." This characteristic is even more pronounced in the 20" model, where the crash sound is long and low.
(For a beautiful musical experience, roll on this cymbal with a pair of mallets. The full-bodied sound will put this cymbal over the top of an orchestra any day.)"
