Review: "The Metal splashes, especially the 12", had a cool Chinese Feng-gong-type sound, where the pitch distorts and dips when you hit the cymbal. Beyond their capacity for quick accents in extreme metal situations, I can also see these splashes being useful in multi- percussion settings where you want to explore more unusual tones."
