Review: The 8" A Zildjian Splash is "breathy", and I seem to hear a bit of a "bell" sound. It responds to being struck in the same way that it decays - very quickly. It is only slightly brighter than the K Zildjian 8" Splash. For my tastes both these 8" splashes stand best in a setup with a 10" splash, but people playing lighter music styles could certainly make these 8 inch gems work for them.
