Review: The K Custom 20" Dry Ride reminds me a bit of the Earth Ride. Both are heavy, unlathed, and have excellent definition. The main difference between two is that this K Custom is darker, and, ahem, drier.
Fast sticking is easy, due to the heaviness, and hitting the bell produces a distinctive sound, pleasing and harmonic.
As far as dry rides are concerned, crashing is usually not satisfactory, and this is no exception. There's a certain gong-like characteristic when crashed.
