Background: 1967: Ludwig starts carrying Formula 602's. The "Ludwigs" or sometimes "Ludwig Custom cymbals" are finally referred to as Ludwig Standards.
Probably to avoid confusion with the "all-new" econo Ludwig Stanoples which make their first appearance.
