Ludwig Standard
Contents
Introduction: 1967
Discontinued: 1975
Background: 1967: Ludwig starts carrying Formula 602. The "Ludwigs" or sometimes "Ludwig Custom cymbals" are finally referred to as Ludwig Standards.
Probably to avoid confusion with the "all-new" econo Ludwig Stanoples which make their first appearance.
1975: Last appearance of Paistes in a Ludwig catalog. And it's only the Standards in limited size options (probably leftovers after the companies parted ways). F602, Giant Beat and Stanople are gone. A. Zildjian returns.
