"20" Mike Skiba Ride Cymbal, Jeff Ballard clone 1902g

For those cymbalholics out there, this is a special one. Mike Skiba, world class cymbal smith, made this for me back in 2008 before his untimely passing and it's time for it to find a new home and make some new music. l for years this was my 'take one cymbal to the gig' cymbal. I asked him to make me a ride that captured the sound of Jeff Ballard's heavily cracked old K, and he replied "Oh, so you want a cymbal that sounds cracked but isn't? Hahaha" ... and this is the result. Infinitely controllable with beautiful woody stick articulation while also being fully crashable with an undersized but fully functional bell. It currently has two small brass split rivets installed. It has no cracks, no key-holing, and no edge nicks to speak of. Other than patina it is as it arrived to me and has been on many recordings and hundreds of gigs. Please see attached video to hear it in action."
