Summary
microstructure of a 70s (?) Japanese Kingston brass alloy. Lab notes: This shows alpha and beta phases which are not usually found in brass for cymbals. Brown is alpha-brass with fcc structure (face centered cubic) and the yellow phase is beta-brass with bcc structure (base-centered cubic).
