Review: Using thin to describe these models is only relative to the Rude Series. They're more like a Power Crash weight model in other lines. When Paiste announced these models I decided to try and get one. I finally did.
You might think that these cymbals are one dimensional but they're not. I've always wanted the Alex Van Halen sound from 1984 and could not find it. Well, to my ears, this 19" Rude Thin Crash does it for me. It's got that classic Rude bite with a warmth that only the thinner weight can give it. I've learned that glancing blows can result in a nice swelling crash but a full on assault will result in head splitting crashes that will cut through steel, or any wall of guitar amps.
The bell is very nice and cuts well. This cymbal is almost effective as a small crash ride but the "ping" is just not there.
Buy this one, you will not be disappointed.

Review: This is the heaviest, loudest, most cutting crash in my lineup. So, when I tell you that the rest of my crashes are 2002 Crashes and Thin Crashes it all makes sense. I like to keep this in my setup for that time when you need a little extra power to push the song over the top. This handles that gracefully. In comparison, this is 500 grams heavier than the 2002 19" Thin Crash, and 300 grams heavier than the 2002 19" Crash.
I recommend the RUDE Thin Crashes to anyone curious about the Rude series. Perhaps not as big as this one to start out though.
It's a great crash with a bright crash, and not nearly as gong-like as the Rude Crash/Rides.
